Abstract

Intra-Dialytic Parenteral Nutrition (IDPN) has been demonstrated in the literature to be a feasible mode of nutrition support; however it is not widely accepted for use in malnourished haemodialysis (HD) patients in Australia. The aim of this study was to examine the effectiveness of supplemental IDPN on nutritional and patient-reported outcomes of malnourished HD patients.
