Abstract

We test the consistency and the accuracy of previous “fitted values” of the moments distributions of the mesons wave functions by combining constraints from finite energy sum rules (FESR) and Laplace transform sum rules (LSR) satisfying the onset of QCD continuum and LSR variable stability criteria. Analyzing the sensitivity of the results on the values of the QCD condensates, we confirm and improve Chernyak-Zhitnitsky (CZ) estimates of the π meson moments but provide new results for the other mesons (ρ, A1 and B (db)). Most of the sets of the parameters estimated by CZ do not fulfill the above mentioned self-consistency checks.
