Department of Chemistry, Hanyang University, Seoul 133-791, KoreaReceived January 13, 2010, Accepted February 8, 2011Key Words : Copper, Dissociative adsorption, Reconstruction, Thin film Oxidation of copper is known to occur during corrosionprocess, but if the oxidation is controlled under rightcondition, desirable oxide thin layers that can be applied inelectronic devices, as protective layers against corrosion,and as heterogeneous catalysts for various chemical reac-tions could be generated.
