Abstract
Modern approaches to antihypertension therapy suppose the usage of combination drugs, making significant positive influence on the values of systemic blood pressure (BP) in daily and nocturnal periods, optimization of 24-hour BP profile, achieved target BP in most of patients. Also, it is important to fulfill organ protection and vessel protection. To all these criteria does respond azilsartan medoxomil and its combination with chlorthalidone. The combination azilsartan/chlorthalidone shows serious antihypertension properties, including the patients with metabolic disorders, facilitates optimization of BP at night, decrease of vascular stiffness. Collection of positive properties of the combination makes it to apply broadly in real clinical practice to increase efficacy of hypertension patient’s management.

Что в группе пациентов с интенсивным контролем артериального давления (АД) по сравнению со стандартным режимом терапии чаще регистрировались случаи гипотонии и повреждения почек, результаты SPRINT нельзя недооценивать и сбрасывать со счета
Что данная комбинация может оказаться предпочтительной у ранее не лечившихся пациентов с высоким риском сердечно-сосудистых осложнений (мощный антигипертензивный эффект в данной ситуации может обеспечить достижение целевых значений артериального давления (АД) при сохранении приверженности терапии), при наличии патологического профиля АД “non-dipper”, у больных с ожирением, инсулинорезистентностью, сахарным диабетом, а также у целого ряда больных артериальной гипертонии (АГ), нуждающихся в эффективной и безопасной комбинации антигипертензивных препаратов

Modern approaches to antihypertension therapy suppose the usage of combination drugs, making significant positive influence on the values of systemic blood pressure (BP) in daily and nocturnal periods, optimization of 24-hour BP profile, achieved target BP in most of patients. В многоцентровом рандомизированном двойномслепом исследовании, включавшем 1285 пациентов с АГ 1-2 степени, применение азилсартана медоксомила в суточной дозе 40 мг обеспечивало более выраженное снижение клинического систолического и диастолического АД в сравнении с 40 мг олмесар тана или 320 мг валсартана.
