Abstract

The main task of researchers studying the field of energy efficiency management is to find new and improve existing approaches to management that combine achievements in the technical field of savings and the potential of positive experience accumulated by human resources. Considering the experience of developed countries, we can conclude that in order to increase the competitiveness of high-tech companies, the implementation of a management system should not be limited only to the development and implementation of energy policy. For most high-tech industrial enterprises, the issues of optimizing existing management systems from the point of view of generating a sufficient amount of information for decision-making are relevant. Existing approaches to management at industrial enterprises in our country largely depend on the role of the state in the processes of financial, legal and information support, as well as on technical areas of improving energy efficiency (modernization of energy infrastructure facilities and implementation of energy-efficient technologies). As a result, there is an obstacle in applying systematic approaches to solving the problems that have arisen and, as a result, the lack of positive results in the field of energy conservation. One of the most effective ways to improve the energy efficiency of metallurgical enterprises is to introduce an integrated organizational and economic mechanism for managing energy efficiency, which is able to ensure the achievement of the necessary targets. This approach to management considers an energy—consuming enterprise as a system of interconnected activities or business processes that consumes certain resources at the input and provides a product that is valuable to the consumer at the output.
