Abstract
A three-dimensional vector propagation model for indoor microcellular communications, based on ray optics and diffraction theory, is presented. The model includes all possible propagation paths, i.e. ceiling, floor and wall reflections, corner diffractions and subsequent scattering events. Comparison with path loss measurements made in a corridor complex shows good general agreement.
