Abstract

In the paper the relationship between the failure times which result from eloctrical-lifes tests, performed at constant and linearly-increasing stresses, is found out, by resorting to phenomenological and statistical approaches. This study is pertinent to insulating materials and systems whose electrical life lines follow the inverse power or exponential model.
