Abstract

This paper focused on the modeling and analysis of networked control systems with time delay and data packet dropout. We modeled the one data packet transmission networked control systems as a switched asynchronous dynamical system with rate constraints on events. In the case of the data packet dropout, a compensation scheme was employed to achieve a more accurate plant state. This estimator was also used in calculation of control signal. As for the time varying delay, we decomposed the system matrix into two parts: the canonical part and the uncertain part. Based on the model under consideration the analysis of stability is made and a sufficient condition for the system to be stable is presented by using LMI method.
