Abstract

A Battery Charge Regulator system based on the Superbuck converter is presented, the working principle of the Superbuck converter is analyzed and the small signal model is established. In order to meet the requirements of wide input range and high dynamic response of the Superbuck converter, a double closed-loop control system is designed with output voltage and output current dual loop control as outer loop and input current control as inner loop. The stability of the control loop is verified by the Bode plot, and the simulation result of the system in two working conditions are given to support the theoretical analysis.
