Abstract

Several simple models of succession processes in forest ecosystems, namely, models of the dynamics of the species composition of tree stands and succession of dominant species, are elaborated. Numerical application of these models is given by the example of the forest management data on the species and age structure of forests in Vologda Oblast for 1988.
