Abstract

The slag pot carrier with automatic pot-knocked deslagging system is a new type of machinery product used in iron and steel plant for the short distance transportation. Because of huge impact force and vibration when deslagging, the reliability of the product structure must be guaranteed. During the structure design, theoretical study and computer simulation analysis of the slag pot carrier are taken using the commercial finite element software and dynamic analysis software. The vibration test and static strength test for some model 45T slag pot carrier product are accomplished by using the dynamic or static stain meter, acceleration transducer to verify the theoretical calculation. The paper describes the modal analysis result in finite element software, the field vibration test process and data processing result. The test result data are compared with the finite element computation result data, verifying the theoretical calculation.
