Abstract

An Mo4 tetrahedron as part of a readily distorted Mo4S4 cube is observed in the title compound (black crystals). In this complex, molybdenum is coordinated only by sulfur. Four of the six dithiocarbamate ligands are each bound to an Mo atom; the two remaining ligands each bridge an MoMo bond.
