Abstract
Capsule endoscopy (CE) is a good modality for less invasive screening. We know that conventional CE has limitations. The capsule's movement is not controlled and it cannot deal with lesions (biopsy or treatment). To overcome these barriers, we developed an extracorporeal magnetic control system that used some useful gadgets and was supported by internet applications (DDW 2011 & 2012). Though the system has improved capsule accuracy and reduced the examination time, it had a few drawbacks. The equipment needed skillful handling and sophisticated position adjustment technique.
