Abstract

AbstractA remarkably efficient protocol for the mediation of Mn(III) to the radical addition/cyclization cascade of boronic acids with isocyanides leading to 3‐aminoquinoline derivatives is established. A reasonable explanation to the high reactivity of the Mn(III) salt was suggested. Application of the synthetic method to the late‐stage modification of drug molecules was also presented.
