Abstract

Four species of the family Tetranychidae, Neotetranychus rubi Trägårdh, Amphitetranychus viennensis (Zacher), Tetranycopsis horridus (Canestrini & Fanzago), T. hystriciformis Reck, and one species of the Phytoseiidae, Phytoseius macropilis (Banks), were collected in the Tatra mountains in Slovakia. Four species (*) are new for the fauna of Slovakia. The synonymy of Tetranycopsis potentilla Baker & Tuttle, 1972 and T. hystriciformis Reck, 1956 is discussed. A key to the eight species of the genus Tetranycopsis is given.
