Abstract

In complex aortic surgery, median sternotomy is still the standard approach. Minimally invasive access techniques are being stablished across the globe. This study aimed to highlight strategies for cerebral protection during minimally invasive access hemiarch replacement surgery, while complementing the existing literature in the viability, safety, and equivalence to the standard approach.
