Abstract

This is the second part of a two part paper on Minimal Structure control. In the first part, the concept of Minimal Structure control was outlined and explained. Further a possible approach was proposed to develop Minimal Structure controllers. This approach included use of two tools also proposed in the first paper. In this paper, this approach will be applied to two real-life examples and will be shown, even given the basic nature of this proposed initial approach, powerful results can be obtained. This approach will be used to to develop Minimal Structure controllers for a four-input four-output reheat furnace and also a two by two automotive gas-turbine engine.
