Abstract
Acute bony Bankart lesions (BBL) occur in up to 22% of first-time dislocations, and misdiagnosis may predispose to recurrent instability. The all-arthroscopic ‘‘Bony Bankart Bridge’’(BBB) repair technique for acute BBL restores shoulder stability in the short-term but midterm outcomes were previously lacking. The purpose of this study is to show that the BBB results in stability with high satisfaction and improved outcomes in patients that are a minimum 5 years following surgery.
