Abstract

Objective To explore therapeutic effect of nursing intervention under nasal endoscopic microwave in patients with refractory nasal bleeding.Methods 120 patients admitted in our department from June 2013 to May 2014 under nasal endoscopic microwave therapy and nursing measures data were retrospectively analyzed.Results With effective treatment and nursing intervention,all patients were cured and discharged from hospital,including 113 cases of successful nasal endoscopic hemostatic,other 7 cases as secondary treatment success.Bleeding symptoms were controlled and no complication was found,but due to different ages and gender,most of the patients had pain including mild postoperative pain of 91 cases (75.8%),moderate pain of 29 cases (24.2%),after symptomatic treatment and nursing,pain symptoms disappeared obviously.The average hospital stay was 5 days,and no continuous bleeding or errhysis were found in the follow-up for 6 months.Conclusion Microwave treatment under nasal endoscopy for refractory nasal bleeding,has advantages such as safe and effective,quick stop bleeding,less postoperative complication and shorter time of minimally invasive surgery,etc.Thus,strengthening the effective preoperative and postoperative nursing intervention care for patients,can significantly improve their comfort level and promote their early recovery.
