Abstract
High-frequency transport experiments offer interesting possibilities to study two-dimensional electron and hole systems in high magnetic fields. We review investigations in the integer and fractional quantum Hall effect regimes as well as in the insulator regime at low filling of the lowest Landau level. They concern, e.g., the dynamic scaling of the plateau-to-plateau transitions, the spin polarization in the lowest Landau level, and the possible existence of a Wigner crystal.
