Abstract

Rotational spectra of 20NeHF and 22NeHF have been measured using a pulsed-nozzle Fourier-transform microwave spectrometer. The J = 2-1 and 1-0 transitions were observed, yielding B 0 = 4514.0949(15) MHz, D J = 0.59889(19) MHz, and μ = 0.3882(21) D for 20NeHF and B 0 = 4318.53739(93) MHz, D J = 0.54021(12) MHz, and μ = 0.3917(13) D for 22NeHF. The measured dipole moments provide an estimate of 〈 P 1(cos θ)〉 = 0.21 which can be related to the anisotropy of the NeHF intermolecular potential.
