Abstract

AbstractA method for drying of leather is proposed where emphasis is placed on the uniform power distribution along the surface to achieve uniform drying and a high quality of finished product. Laboratory results indicate that the method is feasible at a lower energy cost and time saving, when compared to conventional methods, without any sacrifice in quality.
