Abstract

Microgrid and its control system constitute a typical cyber physical system (CPS). The security, reliability and economy of a microgrid physical system depend on the accurate and efficient operation of the cyber system which is compatible with it. Malicious attacks, channel interruptions and other faults on cyber side may lead to operational risks on physical side. Quantifying the impact of cyber failures helps to improve the energy management system and operation optimization algorithm. With the development of microgrids and the increase of the penetration rate of new energy in the power grid, distributed optimization control is gradually emerging. Therefore, it is of great significance to analyze the process of cyber-physical interaction in distributed control systems. In this paper, we construct cyber topology for distributed control micro grid and establish its CPS model and channel fault model. Then a method is proposed to quantify the impact of channel faults on the operation of microgrid. The results verify the effectiveness of the proposed model and method.
