Abstract

The feasibility of using the method of characteristic scales to construct mathematical models of engineering processes, including unsteady radiant heat exchange, has been considered. Results of investigations of unsteady radiant heat exchange of materials of the spherical and cylindrical shape typically used to construct mathematical models have been shown. The dependences of generalized variables at different parameters have been obtained.
