Abstract

Opportunities for people with mental health problems to go to university are now much greater, thanks to the Disability Discrimination Act. Also, many universities now offer support to students with mental health difficulties. Ann Heyno describes the student mentoring service introduced at the University of Westminster for people with mental health support needs, and how it complements the counselling and advice service the university also provides.
