Abstract

This media review of Elizabeth J. Allan's, Women's Status in Higher Education: Equity Matters, builds on prior research of women in higher education. Allan's 2011 ASHE Higher Education report examines the status of women through multiple lenses of feminist theory. This media review informs student affairs practice by highlighting the role theory plays in looking at status in higher education.
