Abstract

Evaluation method of piezoelectric ceramics has been investigated. The center of admittance circle was determined by the least square method, and the parallel complex capacitance C0(=C0'-jC0'') were deduced. From C0 and the measured data, motional capacitance C1, motional inductance L1 and motional resistance R1 were calculated by using the least square method. The equivalent circuit parameters were determined on PZT ceramics Pb(Zr1-xTix)O3. At x=0.47, the real parts of the parallel capacitance C0' and motional capacitance C1 showed maximum value, 2.685 nF and 454 pF, respectively and at x=0.44, electromechanical coupling factor kp showed the maximum value 51%.
