Abstract
For the calibration of radiometric transfer standards by means of electron synchrotron radiation an apparatus has been developed which is in service at DESY, Hamburg. The equipment is used to calibrate commercial deuterium lamps (165 nm to 340 nm). The uncertainty of the “absolute” spectral radiance is ± 4%, whereas that of the relative spectral radiance is ± 2%.
