Abstract

AbstractA method has been developed for the examination of rates of reaction of a strongly basic ion‐exchange resin with a large organic anion. The results indicate that an organically fouled resin reacts at a slower rate than an unfouled one under standard conditions, and the possibilities of using the method as an aid to solving the problem of organic fouling are discussed.
