Abstract

Kumar-Baranger-type dynamic deformation structure wavefunctions are used to generate reduced matrix elements (spectroscopic amplitudes) for two-nucleon transfer operators between even-even nuclei. Similar quantities for scattering operators are also derived. It is argued that the present generalisation of the rotational model concept of microscopic intrinsic matrix elements is valid for spherical (vibrational) and transitional nuclei as well as for deformed (rotational) nuclei.
