Abstract

A mathematical model of the interaction of a heterogeneous detonation wave of aluminum particles in oxygen with a suspension of water droplets is proposed. The mathematical model takes into account the fragmentation and evaporation of droplets when interacting with a detonation wave. During the mathematical modeling, various types of interaction of the detonation wave with a droplet suspension were obtained (a partial decrease in the speed of movement without disruption of detonation combustion, failure of detonation). The dependence of the propagation velocity of the detonation wave on the volume concentration of water droplets in the cloud is found.
