Abstract

ABSTRACT For the proper development of writing, teachers must choose the best line for their students. To this day, it is still not very clear which is the correct or the most suitable letter for the beginning of this learning process. However, there are certain parameters that allow us to observe the “pros” and “cons’ that have been analysed on these fonts. Both manuscript letter and cursive have certain advantages it will be convenient to analyse. The objective of this test is to arrive at clear statements between both types of letters to determine their influence on the fluency and accuracy of writing. The parameters inform us that starting with the cursive letter is better for the first courses of primary education. The study indicates that later the students prefer the cursive letter, which is easier for them at that age. However, in later courses, the manuscript letter predominates.
