Abstract

The article examines the overdues procedures of a high school library that uses a microcomputer to assist in the process. School system regulations and library policies are outlined. A microcomputer is used to maintain lists of students with overdue materials. Through automatic sorting and updating of files, the time required to maintain overdue files has been cut in half.
