Abstract

To reap the fullest benefits of exciting technology and keep the software development project on track, it is essential that project management principles be applied to manage software development projects. A project is a temporary endeavor undertaken to create a unique product or service. The probability of successfully completing a project is at its lowest (risk and uncertainty are highest) at the start of the project and gets progressively higher as the project advances.
