Abstract
Mahmoud Moawad (Figure (Figure11) is the head of the Section of General Internal Medicine at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He is a recognized leader who established the first committee to study and disseminate information on evidence-based medicine in the hospital, as well as a consultant for complicated medical cases, an administrator, and a dedicated family man. He shared time with me during a recent visit to Saudi Arabia.
