Abstract
Magnetic properties of Y 1 − x Er x Co 3 compounds have been studied by low-field magnetization and AC susceptibility measurements in the temperature range (4.2–500 K). Below a magnetic ordering temperature a magnetic phase transition was found for Er-rich compounds ( x > 0.2). The low-temperature transition and non-linear dependences of magnetic transition temperatures with concentration can be associated with Co magnetic instability.
