Abstract
We calculate the local magnetic moments on the surface of a rough overlayer of BCC Fe on FCC Ag and study the correlation between the local curvature of the surface to the local magnetic moment. We propose that a measure of the roughness exponent of the surface magnetic moments is obtained from the roughness exponent of the local curvatures of the surface and attempt to justify our proposal from the numerical results obtained.
