Abstract
MRI has become an invaluable method for evaluating uterine pathology. This article reviews MRI assessment of benign uterine disorders, including leiomyoma, adenomyosis, endometrial polyp, and Nabothian cyst. The article also describes extensively the technical aspects of uterine MRI scanning, and the normal MRI features of the uterus, vagina, and the uterine ligaments. A companion article in the same issue is concerned with MRI of malignant uterine disorder.
