Abstract

The superconducting properties of a series of Y–Ba–Cu–O compounds were studied. The d.c. susceptibility data are used to establish part of the phase diagram and the volume fraction of the superconducting phase scales accordingly. Based on the resistivity, magnetization and critical field measurements, various parameters which characterize these superconductors were derived.
