Abstract

The hyperfine field distributions of the amorphous (Fe81.5B14.5Si4) alloy are explained in terms of structural disorder. The increase in Curie temperature with isothermal relaxation may be attributed to the increase of mean number of nearest-neighbor iron atoms around Fe, and so to reduction of topological short-range disorder.
