Abstract
Nanoparticles of vanadium dioxide doped with chromium and iron are obtained using the hydrothermal technique. Their morphology is studied by means of TEM and XRD. The temperature dependence of their magnetic characteristics is investigated using the magnetic susceptibility method, and the parameters of exchange interaction between magnetic atoms are estimated. It is shown that the introduction of a doped element changes the mechanism of nanoparticle growth and lowers the temperature of the semiconductormetal transition to 150–200 K.
