Abstract

Low temperature electroless deposition of hard magnetic CoNiP alloys is presented in the article. Process compatibility with photocurable resins used in micro 3D printing is investigated, together with the influence of plating parameters on compositional, microstructural and magnetic properties. In-situ Raman spectroscopy is used to analyze the chemical processes occurring during electroless metallization. Such processes are correlated to the properties obtained in the final coatings. Finally, the plating process is applied to the metallization of prototypical stereolithography 3D printed micrometric samples.
