Abstract

The low-energy γ-ray spectra of 75Se and 124Sb have been measured using a thin-crystal scintillation spectrometer in conjunction with an absorption technique to reduce the effect of degraded high-energy y-rays. A 24.4 keV γ-ray was found in 75Se with, an intensity of 0.032 ± 0.010 relative to I γ (265 keV) = 100. An upper limit of 0.001 photons per disintegration has been found for the intensity of a 7.7 keV γ-ray in 124Sb for which tentative evidence has previously been reported.
