Abstract

In order to reduce the environmental pollution caused by carbon emissions in the integrated energy system (IES), the economic benefits of the IES must be improved. Therefore, this study proposes a an economic and low carbon operation method of an IES based on an improved fireworks algorithm. Firstly, the analytical model of the IES with electrical heat and cooling load demand is constructed. Secondly, the model of optimization of low carbon operation of the IES is developed with the aim of reducing the total cost of the system operation and the cost of carbon trading. Finally, an improved firework algorithm is proposed for the calculation of the model. The simulation results on the IES show that our promised approach can minimize the operating cost of the IES and reduce the carbon emission of the system.
