Abstract

One major R&D effort at KWJ Engineering over the past 2 years has involved new amperometric gas sensors with ionic liquid electrolytes as alternatives to standard aqueous acid electrolytes. Part of this effort involves long term testing and validation of sensor performance (sensitivity, baseline drift, chemical interferences and stability under variable environmental conditions) compared to reference sensors. This presentation will discuss evaluation of sensor performance and the development of performance specifications for these sensors as part of the product development effort.
