Abstract

The authors present the analysis of the long-term results achieved in 20 cases of cross-facial nerve grafting with special attention to the failures. An attempt is made to identify the significance of their observations and the relevance these have to the technique that has been used. They suggest some modifications they have already applied in their most recent cases.
