Abstract

LocoScript makes extensive use of menus, particularly pull-down menus, to provide you with on-screen help. A pull-down menu is like a roller blind with a number of options written on it. To pull down or invoke a menu, you need to press one of the PCW’s dedicated word-processing keys. These pull-down menus are very helpful, particularly when LocoScript is new to you, but you will soon find yourself taking the various short-cuts which LocoScript provides to enable you to miss out many of the menus, as you gain confidence in using the word processor. See Chapter 3.5 which is entitled BY-PASSING MENUS.
