Abstract

Littoral cell angioma (LCA) is a rare benign vascular tumor of the spleen. Hypersplenism or coexisting clinical conditions lead to its discovery. Few case reports describing the gray scale appearance of LCA exist in the literature, and, to our knowledge, the color flow Doppler appearance of this tumor has not been described before. We present one such case with gray scale and color Doppler features and histopathologic correlation.
