One way to anticipate hoaxes is to increase digital literacy skills, because usually before an election, various types of hoaxes are spread in the media, hoax makers intentionally disseminate and take advantage of this situation for certain interests. Therefore, people living in rural and urban areas need to be educated about the importance of digital literacy, this is to anticipate the wider spread of hoaxes. This socialization and training was carried out in Kebuyutan Village, which is one of the villages on the north coast of Banten Province. With this activity the community is expected to have increased knowledge and skills or abilities in using digital media. this is divided into two stages, in the results of the data analysis in the preparation stage the opportunity for the community to become a hoax spreader may exist, this is due to a lack of knowledge and understanding of digital literacy. Whereas in the data analysis of the implementation stage, based on the results of the pre-test and post-test evaluations of 26 training participants, there was an increase in knowledge and skills or abilities in using digital media, with an average of 88 points
