Abstract

A simplified system for linearising mixers using a distortion cancellation technique is presented. Compared with a single mixer, the two-tone experimental results, at 2.000 and 2.0001 GHz RF, show a 32 dB maximum reduction of IM3 at 70 MHz IF. The complexity of the system is reduced compared with that for the previously reported feedforward mixer linearisation technique.
